Subway Sink

SUBWAY SINK

Reimagining British Mid-Century design after the destruction of WW2 and the Blitz, this sink takes elements from post-war London to redesign the sink for the new British home. With the idea of creating a cold water sink (continuing the societal rationing of hot water due to diminished resources) and the repurposing of broken subway tiles from the bombed underground subway sites, this is a sink for the reimagined British Modern. The subway sink showcases the ability to transform traumatic components of life into beautiful objects that rebuild new senses of comfort.
